Daily Rhythm
Growing tiny hearts and curious minds with endless patience
Books, songs, and everyday conversation are some of the most powerful ways to nurture babies’ growing brains and hearts.
I keep a large rotating library of books so there’s always something fresh to explore together. I sing constantly—classic nursery songs, gentle lullabies, and playful tunes. Singing helps babies tune into rhythm, language patterns, and the comfort of a familiar voice. Throughout the day I talk with your baby about everything that’s happening. This steady stream of language builds vocabulary, deepens connection, and helps them make sense of their world.
These simple, fun everyday moments lay a strong foundation for language, listening, and emotional security.
Babies learn through play. It’s how they discover their bodies, their world, and their growing abilities.
I keep a wide variety of toys for every stage and rotate them regularly so there’s always something new to explore. All toys are washed daily. Babies are encouraged to reach, grasp, and manipulate. They get to move freely and are supported as they investigate the world around them. I also protect uninterrupted playtime whenever possible, giving babies space to focus deeply, work through their own discoveries, and strengthen their growing ability to concentrate.
Play builds curiosity, coordination, confidence, and joy.
Each baby has their own crib with soft cotton bedding, washed regularly with chemical-free soap. Babies are placed on their backs to sleep, and I stay close and responsive and never leave them to cry it out.
I gently support little ones as they learn to settle, drawing on different approaches and finding what feels right for each baby. Sleep is kept calm and consistent, so they can rest feeling safe and secure.
Baby-led weaning and self-feeding are welcomed and supported here, and I'm always happy to follow your family's feeding approach. When babies are given the chance to feed themselves, they open up many pathways of development.
Along with building motor skills and coordination, self-feeding helps babies learn to self-regulate, gain oral control that can help reduce the risk of choking, and develop positive eating habits that support a more adventurous relationship with food.
Days full of songs, stories, play and cuddles.
